INIFD Jaipur organized Cultural Week from 22nd December to 27th 2014. . “ZEST 2014” is the Theme for the event in which students participated in different activities & competitions: Talent arena (dances & skit competition),Galleria (Talent Hunt), Fashion & Hungama (Fashion Show & The INIFD Rock Band), Halla Bol (Sports & Games) for getting a platform to show their talent in various fields including designing. It is 5 days event. It is the inter-house competition between Earth, Mars and Venus of INIFD.
The fourth day was the Halla Bol (sports day) which was full of pomp and joy . The students were in full energetic mood, to win some winning points for their respective houses. Dresses up in sports attire ,everyone was looking stunning, there were a number of sports events, including Kabaddi- Hu Tu Tu, Kho-Kho=Bhag Milkha Bhag, Tug-Of –War=Kurukshetra ,Get-Set-Go=Put On Your Shoes & Socks, Tie your tie pack your bag & run, Relay Race-Sathi Haath Barana, Sack Race, Mummy Race:Create the Mummy, Passing Ball : Khel Khel main, Lemon Race.
Along with the sports event there were hooting, whistling, cheering and clapping boosted the participants towards their aim. It seemed as if everyone was sitting in EDEN GARDEN and enjoying the sunny sports events .The most exciting part of the event was when the participants ran with their school boy appearance or in kabaddi contestants were hugging tightly each other. The spectators enjoyed the mummies created by the contestants .Sack race made them laugh most .In the lemon race it was all about to get a lemon and it eat nobody bothers for prize.
The closing ceremony on 5th day, with “On the Rocks-New Year Evening Celebration party on winter/festive theme”
Mr Ayush Poddar Director of Kamla Poddar Institute said, “We are arranging this festival not only for fun and frolic but learn to fight in professional world. They should learn to finish their job by given dead line. Our students should have a mindset for teamwork. ”
