INIFD Jaipur is the most promising institute in the field of Fashion , Interior, Textile and MBA Design Management had organized Orientation Program for the new students. This program ran from 20th August to 22nd August 2014. The students whole heartily welcomed the newcomers. The Institute had organized an Orientation Program for 3 days for the devlopment of the students. This will begin with an induction session in the institute to make the students familiar about the institute.
Ms Anupama Bose(Textile Designer),Ms Shipra Goyal(Fashion Designer),Mr Rajeev Kedia(Interior designer),Ms Bharti Sinha(Communication Skills Expert), Ms Pallavi Vacchani(Management Skills Trainer ),Ms Vinnie(Personality Development & Market skills Trainer),Ms Shivani(Health & Nutrition Trainers) ,Mr Manish Goenka(Fashion Forecasting & Trends Expert), Mr Joginder Nagpal(Design Concepts) , were the experts who became the part of this Orientation Program 2014.
Ms Anupama Bose (Textile designer) passed out from NID, Ahmedabad whose working forte is Embroidery; she interacted & talked with the students the minute details of design. She inspires and believes in working for own hobbies lifelong. According to the designer Ms Anupama Bose, “I don’t have much knowledge of the Art but the work which is above hobby becomes the passion and gives extra ordinary results”.. She communicated the things in a very inspiring way that could make the students feel enhanced to move in a career of design.
Ms Shipra Goyal (Fashion designer) is known because of her high end fashion designing concepts and designing techniques. She runs her own Designer store in jaipur. She owns the renowned brand name ‘CHRISIALAS, Jaipur’. She taught the students the basics of fashion. According to her if we possess good knowledge of color matching then we can be a good designer. Colors are very important aspect of design; they form an ambience as well as improves the feeling of the atmosphere. She said while designing the kit for Indian Cricket team, I kept in mind the line, length and shade. Her entrepreneur quality and dynamic nature inspired students to look for a career in design and become successful and independent.
Mr Rajeev Kedia (Interior Designer) is a very good example of an interior designer as well a successful business man in jaipur, he owns a manufacturing unit of different interior products. He suggested the students to interact with the Interior designers, Architects & other working professionals and attend regular workshops to get an exposure of the industry and by sharing of their experiences. He talked about various materials used in interior design and Architecture, their importance along with latest technologies used in industry. The information given by him enriched students and motivated the budding creators to work in the industry.
Ms Bharthi Sinha interacted with the students and taught them Soft Skills and its importance in the corporate world. For last 15 years She is working on communication skills and is a trainer in Marketing, Promotion and brand image consultant, feature writer and Business and Soft Skill Motivation Trainer.
According to Mr Manish Goenka ( Fashion Forecast & Trend expert Faculty) interacted with students on Fashion Forecasting & trends & given minor details on its importance in designing. He also said that the future of the fashion is very bright. .
Mr Joginder Nagpal interacted & explained the design concept which includes the knowledge of the elements of design such as color, shape, texture etc. Students were very excited about it. This program is organized for introducing the new students, with old ones.
Ms Shivani(Health & Nutrition Trainers) discussed with students on healthy diet & what is the importance of balance diet along with that she provided them few dietary tips on their meals & ms Vinni(Personality Development & Marketing Skills Trainer) also gave tips to students to improve their personality by using diet meal.
According to the INIFD Jaipur Director & Chairperson Kamla Poddar Group, Ms. Kamla Poddar “Every year INIFD organizes the Orientation Program for the new students. We call big designers who solve the queries for the students and clear their designing concepts. She greeted the new students and give them good wishes for their future.”
According to Mr. Abhishek Poddar,the Director of KPG, “Every student is bound to have questions. this orientation is designed around them, helping to uncover the answers the questions they have and providing information about campus recourses programs & services..”
According to Mr. Ayush Poddar, the Director of KPG, “During this orientation program students will begin to build a network of recourses that will help them to start their new journey on the right path.”
According to INIFD jaipur Location Head Ms. Swati Bhargava,” Every year we welcome the new students in a new way. Through these workshop the students were given the subject knowledge.”
